Bike & Build [http://www.bikeandbuild.org/cms/index.php]

Bike & Build raises money and awareness for affordable housing organizations through cross-country cycling trips for young adults. We have eight national that pedal east-to-west each summer, lasting about 10 weeks. Riders pedal about 70 miles per day. 1-2 times/week, we will stop and build with a local AH affiliate in one of the hundreds of communities through which we pass.

Much of the money fundraised goes to Bike & Build's grant program, which grants money to AH affiliates with projects related to engaging young adults in housing projects on a local, regional, or national scale.

We accept riders of all skills and ability levels. Riders need not be experienced cyclists!
