João Luís Carrilho da Graça

João Luís Carrilho da Graça graduated with a degree in architecture from the School of Fine Arts at the Universidade Técnica de Lisboa in 1977. Carrilho da Graça has taught at the School of Architecture, Universidade de Lisboa (1977–92 and 2014), where in 2013 he received an Honoris Causa Doctorate Degree. He also taught at Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa (2001–10), Universidade de Évora (2005–13) where he was responsible for the creation of the Ph.D. programme in architecture, and was visiting professor at the School of Architecture - Universidad de Navarra (2005, 2007, 2010, and 2014). He lives and works in Lisbon.
