Andre Guimond is director and cofounder of PRESENT Architecture, which specializes in creating innovative architecture that responds to the global challenges confronting our urban and natural environments. PRESENT Architecture was founded in 2012 and is directed by Guimond and Evan Erlebacher, a 2002 graduate of Cornell's College of Arts and Sciences.
Guimond has a bachelor of architecture from AAP, and a master of architecture from The University of Tokyo where he completed two years of research sponsored by the Japanese Ministry of Education and Science. In Tokyo, he joined Toyo Ito and Associates, Architects, where he worked as a lead designer on a variety of architecture projects located in America, Europe, and Asia. He is a licensed architect in New York State and Maine.
