Seemingly distinct discourses have strong relationships and networks among them in terms of architectural design sequence for a specified theme. In this study, the specified theme was to design the building, which shows the characteristics of smooth space in the site featured by striated space. Through the application of characteristics of smooth space like multiplicity, amorphous, and not homogeneous, close vision - haptic space, continuous variation, this study shows how those characteristics can affect not only the building itself but also surrounded blocks of Manhattan.
