Elizabeth Corkery

Born in Sydney, Australia, Elizabeth has been living and working in the U.S. for the past three years. She has an ongoing fascination with the varied notions of the multiple and where her work is placed in the expanding intersection of fine art and design. Enjoying the divergence from the traditional production of limited editions, Elizabeth uses screen prints to create what she calls "unique multiples"; printed works created en masse where no two pieces are the same and their repetition is allowed to evolve. The slippage of the fine art print into that of a sculptural or architectural element and the grey area that exists between print, installation, interior design, sculpture, and architecture, is where Elizabeth enjoys centering her production.
