Liana Miuccio received her B.A. in Humanistic Studies at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and studied photography at the International Center of Photography in New York. She has been granted awards from organizations including the New York Foundation for the Arts, the National Italian American Foundation and the Yann Geoffrey Prize from Grazia Neri in Milano. Her photographs have been published in numerous publications including The New York Times, The Boston Globe, the Globe and Mail, The Daily News, Il Corriere della Sera, L’Espresso and La Repubblica delle Donne. Miuccio also collaborates with Getty Images.
Miuccio's images have been exhibited internationally including a solo exhibits at the Ellis Island Museum in New York and a solo exhibit in the internationally renowned festival of photography in Rome Fotografia and in group shows in institutions and galleries including the American Academy in Rome and Sala Uno in Rome.
At Cornell in Rome she is currently teaching Photography.
