AAP's expanding studio and classroom facility in New York City (AAP NYC) offers undergraduate and graduate students a unique opportunity to live and study in one of the most culturally vital urban centers in the world for one semester, while gaining valuable professional experience at design firms, studios, and innovative public, private, and nonprofit organizations.

Located on 17th Street near Union Square, in the vibrant Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan, AAP NYC’s loft provides expansive studio and seminar space for use by the entire college. The location is an ideal base for the study of urban and social policy, for museum and gallery visits, and exposure to a wealth of architectural history and practice.

 How to Apply
Application is made in the academic year prior to participation. For AAP students the deadline for either the fall or spring semester is November 1 of preceding year. Detailed course and program information may be obtained at 149 E. Sibley Hall.
