Jessica Vaughn, who was born in 1983 in Chicago, is a visual artist living and working in Brooklyn. Vaughn works in sculpture, photography, and mixed media. Her forthcoming group exhibitions include Material Deviance Sculpture Center and a group exhibition at Morta Gallery, both in New York City. She has also exhibited at Arts Incubator at the University of Chicago; Slought Foundation, Philadelphia; Project Row Houses, Houston; and The Studio Museum in Harlem, among others. She was recently an artist in residence at the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council from 2015 to 2016, the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Maine in 2015, and the Whitney Independent Study Program from 2012 to 2013.
