Architecture alumni to lead growth of oversea projects

Singapore's Capitol Theatre building and surrounding area will undergo an extensive renovation and redevelopment under the guidance of Richard Meier's (B.Arch. '57) firm, Richard Meier & Partners Architects. Meier hopes to make the site into a national landmark and destination for art, culture, and commerce.

The Los Angeles-based architectural firm Landry Design Group has promoted Brian Pinkett (B.Arch. '90) to partner. In his role as partner, he will focus on the firm's overall organizational growth, with a special emphasis on the management of their overseas projects. Prior to joining Landry Design Group in 1994, Pinkett worked at Michael Graves and Associates, in Princeton, New Jersey, where he participated in designing commercial, institutional, and high-end residential projects.
