Milstein Hall - Built to Inspire

Milstein Hall, designed by Rem Koolhaas and OMA, is a versatile pedagogical space for the college's top-ranked architecture program. The building’s 25,000 square feet of flexible studio space opened in August 2011, housing 16 architecture studios for the fall and spring semesters. The studio level connects to both Rand and Sibley halls. The 250-seat state-of-the-art auditorium opened in October and functions as a central events location within the college.

Milstein Hall Celebration

More than 800 AAP alumni, students, faculty, and staff ushered in a new era for the college on March 9 and 10 with two days of celebratory events marking the completion of Milstein Hall. Speakers included Rem Koolhaas, Shohei Shigematsu, Robert Silman, John Reps, and William Forsythe. A dance performance by Brock Labrenz of the Forsythe Dance Company, exhibitions by Simon Ungers and Anthony Ames, and a blow-out party held under the Milstein and Sibley domes made the weekend memorable.
