While the URS degree does not have formal concentrations, some students wish to focus their degree on specific areas of knowledge and skills. The following lists provide more information on groups of courses with a common theme or approach.

Design Courses in the URS Curriculum
The following courses are available for undergraduate students interested in the intersection between design and urban studies, for instance the areas of urban design, sustainable design, and participatory design. For this area it is advisable to take the fundamental course as well as one or more workshops. Some of the courses in this area are taught in the Cornell in Rome and Cornell in Washington programs. The AAP NYC program will likely have additional courses.
