The Organization of Cornell Planners (OCP) is the field organization for the Department of City and Regional Planning, and exists to support the growth of CRP graduate students, both as students and professionals. We provide a forum for graduate planning students in their academic and professional pursuits, represent student interests to the department and Cornell University, and build cohesiveness within the department through social activities, strategic planning, and information dissemination.
All students in the department are automatically members of OCP. The best ways to get involved are to attend a meeting, volunteer to help with (or lead) an event, and/or run for office.
Our Core Values
- Listening to and advocating for students' interests and concerns in CRP
- Strengthening connections among CRP students and the department
- Fostering students' professional development through knowledge and skill sharing
