Susan Boyle leads GEI consultants’ brownfield and sustainability practice as an expert in brownfields, liability management, redevelopment, sustainability, and waste management. Her first career was as a senior manager for the State of New Jersey. During that time she spent 14 months on senior executive loan to the National Brownfield Association where she served as their Chief Operating Officer and Executive Editor of Brownfield News. She was also hung in effigy on the side of a major interstate during her New Jersey career. Boyle has created, managed, and served as a featured instructor on several brownfield and environmental policy courses. She serves on the boards of NJ Licensed Site Remediation Professionals Association, Urban Land Institute Northern NJ District Council, NJ Society of Women Environmental Professionals, Environmental Business Council, NYC Partnership of Brownfield Practitioners, and the newly formed Brownfield Coalition of the Northeast. She is a graduate of SUNY Binghamton and received her M.R.P. from Cornell University.
