Studio Spaces

Tjaden Hall

The light-filled and spacious drawing and painting studios in Tjaden Hall offer flexible environments for a wide variety of work and media. The B.F.A. and M.F.A. programs have concentrations in new media, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. Each art student has a private studio space to pursue and create work. Students receive training in safe and efficient use of all facilities and instructional support staff offer assistance and ensure that students adhere to safe and best practices.

The Foundry
The Foundry, a historical landmark building, provides ample studio space and a generous assortment of hand and power tools for sculpture students. There is a separate building behind the Foundry, which houses a complete bronze casting facility.
