Sculptor Charles A. Ginnever Jr. (M.F.A. ’59) gave a talk and slide presentation in November 2006 entitled "Overview of Fifty Years of Work," as part of a series of lectures hosted by the public library in Putney, VT. The series was called Words and Images: Artists Talk About Their Work. Ginnever is famous for his large-scale, abstract steel sculptures.

One such work, Hangover II, a 37-foot, 25,000-pound sculpture composed of two open parallelograms connected by a top flange, is now on loan to Juilliard Park in Santa Rosa, CA. The sculpture will become part of the City of Santa Rosa Recreation and Parks' Civic Artwalk.
