Liana Miuccio teaches photography at multiple university programs in Rome. She has also lectured at numerous universities including the University of Dallas, Casa Italiana/New York University, Middlebury College, University of Pennsylvania, and the Italian Cultural Institute in New York City.

 

Miuccio was born in Rome, raised in New York and divides her time between the two. Her images have been exhibited across the world. Her recent solo exhibit, "DoppiaVisione/Double Vision" was featured as part of FOTOGRAFIA/Festival Internazionaledi Roma at La Casa dellaMemoria and sponsored by the American Embassy in Rome. Her images have also been exhibited as part of group shows in galleries and institutions including the American Academy in Rome, Sala Uno, and Temple University. Her photographs are part of the permanent collection of the Museum of the City of New York.

 

Miuccio received her B.A. in humanities from McGill University in Montrealand and studied photography at the International Center of Photography in New York.
