In 1999, Chris Perry co-founded the collaborative design practice servo, the work of which has been featured in numerous exhibitions and publications, including the 2004 Venice Architecture Biennale and 10x10_2 published by Phaidon Press in 2005. Since 2000, he has taught design studios and theory seminars at the graduate schools of Columbia, Yale, Cornell, the University of Pennsylvania, RMIT in Melbourne and Pratt Institute.

In 2006, Perry co-founded the Responsive Systems Group, an inter-disciplinary cultural and technological design research organization, the work of which will be featured in the 2006 Architecture Biennial Beijing. He has published a number of essays in a variety of architectural exhibition catalogs and journals including Yale Perspecta and AD (Architectural Design), and is co-editor of the forthcoming publication “Collective Intelligence in Design".
