The architecture department's primary student computer labs are located on the second floor of Rand Hall, directly adjacent to the design studios. The labs are open around the clock.

Services
Plotting
For any plotting done by lab monitors, payment must be made in full before receiving the final product. Fees can be collected in the form of checks or through the use of the bursar account billing system. If using the bursar system, a student or faculty ID card and/or authorized course/department account number MUST be presented.
To request a plot, a file must either submitted to the plotting drive on the server (preferred) or a USB flash drive with the file must be submitted to the on-duty lab monitor. The file must be in PDF format with all layers flattened; and file size must be under 20 MB. Once the file has been submitted, the lab monitor will send the print job to the relevant plotters utilizing the requested paper size and type as specified at the time of submission.
Laser Printers
Students and faculty are able to print documents on 8.5”x11” and 11”x17” paper using the laser printers on the second floor. These LaserJets are Net-Print printers, accessible on personal laptops and lab computers that have a current version of Kerberos Bear-Access installed for both Mac and PC users.
