Green Dragon Cafe

Green Dragon Cafe

The lower level of Sibley Dome has been home to an eatery at least since 1912, when proprietor Fred Sherwood offered “all kinds of eats” from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. in his establishment called “The Sibley Dog.”

Since the 1960s, the student-operated Green Dragon Café has provided the AAP community with a unique lounge and eatery convenient to Sibley, Rand, and Tjaden halls. Located in the lower level of historic Sibley Dome, “The Dragon” offers an assortment of sandwiches, salads, wraps, and sushi; beverages including fresh-brewed coffees and teas, soft drinks, juices, and water; and a variety of desserts as well as chips, candy, and gum.

The Green Dragon Café offers a friendly, out-of-the-ordinary atmosphere and a handy location for a quick snack, a study break, or a comfortable place to hang out with friends.
